Philippa Spork has spent more than two decades working with some of the globe’s biggest brands to create innovative marketing solutions that drive sales in an increasingly complex marketing landscape.
In 2012, after twenty years of working for Australia’s two largest media companies, PBL Media (now Bauer) and Seven West Media, and raising three busy school-aged children, Philippa embarked on a new journey, when she opened her own boutique social marketing-consultancy in Brisbane; BlueSky Engagement.
Philippa realised very quickly that regardless of industry or category, many businesses struggled with marketing planning and execution in today’s complicated, fast-paced, frenetic digital world.
In 2015, Philippa published her book Rules of Social Engagement – a practical, no-fuss guide to creating effective digital social content to drive sales featuring downloadable templates with each chapter. It is available as a paperback, eBook and also as a 10-module eLearning program.
Philippa was voted B&T Magazine’s 2015 National People’s Choice Winner, and was a 2015 National Digital Finalist for her work on Rules of Social Engagement.
She currently works with businesses around Australia, enabling them to leverage their brands in a digital landscape. She has a series of products and tools for both individuals and businesses looking to profit from their digital profiles, and has recently launched the country’s first subscription based content library with social scheduling; MEDIARY in December 2015.
Philippa Spork is an engaging Public Speaker on the topic of Social Currency and how to leverage the digital platform to drive business outcomes. She is a regular contributor in the media, providing commentary on social topics such as social media effectiveness and how to leverage your digital profile.
But no matter how big her day gets, at the end of it, she loves being back home helping kids with homework and hearing the ‘best part of my day’ at the dinner table!
